About the event
Morocco, which is home to many migratory species, and which serves as passage area to many others, is a prime candidate for a training school in field ornithology. We will host a one-week training school in basic field ornithology skills. We will equip young students, researchers and conservationists with basic field skills such as bird identification, survey techniques, morphometric measurements, and other techniques, to encourage them into the world of ornithology. The course will target local students, though with possibilities for some international students (primarily N African) to attend as well, in order to create exchange and networking opportunities amongst the attendees.
